Ingredients

  • 1 lbbulk pork sausage
  • 2/3 cupwater
  • 3 cupbiscuit/baking mix
  • 1 cup(4ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can(10 3/4 ounces) condensed cheddar cheese soup, undiluted

Steps

  1. 1

    In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until no longer pink.

  2. 2

    Drain.

  3. 3

    In a bowl, combine soup, cheese and water.

  4. 4

    Stir in biscuit mix until blended.

  5. 5

    Add sausage.

  6. 6

    Fill greased muffin cups three-fourths full.

  7. 7

    Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the muffin.

  8. 8

    Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.

  9. 9

    Serve warm.

  10. 10

    *This recipe makes about 1 1/2 dozen muffins.*

  11. 11

    **These are really tasty served with some soup for lunch.**

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old. I volunteer for a dog rescue and a shelter, as well as other festivals and organizations.
