Masala poori
A spicy way of making your favourite family meal

Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl

Add ginger garlic paste and mix well.

Start adding water bit by bit to knead a stiff dough

Check the seasoning and add more salt if needed

Let the dough rest covered for 10 minutes

Make lemon sized balls of the dough

Grease the roiling board and pin with some oil

Start rolling the dough balls into flat circular poori shape. Remember not to roll it too thick/thin

Meanwhile heat enough oil for deep frying in a wok

When the oil is hot enough for frying, deep fry each pooris till golden brown on each side

Serve hot with any curries or raitas of your choice
