An easy flavorful way to make mashed potatoes and you can keep the mashed potatoes on the warm settings while serving and plus having them in the slow cooker gives you more room on your stove top to cook other stuff.

An easy flavorful way to make mashed potatoes and you can keep the mashed potatoes on the warm settings while serving and plus having them in the slow cooker gives you more room on your stove top to cook other stuff.

Clean and peel potatos if desired. I leave it on and dice. Soak diced potatos in lightly salted water for at least 30 minutes. This is a optional step but preferred.

Rinse and drain potatoes. Spray non stick cooking oil in slow cooker and place potatoes in cooker along with garlic, butter, olive oil and broth.

Cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or till you can easily pierce with a fork. Make sure to stir once or twice while cooking. Then add in rest of ingredients and mash or use a hand mixer and blend till smooth and creamy.

Keep on warm till ready to serve and mix in a little extra butter, half and half or broth as needed for desired texture add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy !
