Ingredients

  • 1 packageSpaghetti
  • 4 ozwater
  • 2 cupscold iced water to blanch or shuck veggies
  • 12 tbspvegetable oil
  • 1carrot - cut to match stick
  • Green beans cut at a bias
  • Leek chopped
  • Celery chopped
  • Turnip sliced
  • Basil for garnish
  • Salt to taste and cooking
  • 1 cubeseasoning
  • Pink rose food colour

Steps

  1. 1

    Put water and add salt. Allow to boil. Add pasta and a drop of veggie oil allow to cook and one to two minutes before package timing take off drain and set aside.

    Cut veggies - carrots, green beans and celery and blanch. However the turnip ensure you cook with the drained pasta water and set aside.

  3. 3

    Add oil and heat. Add chopped leek, add salt and crushed cube seasoning. Add your carrots and green beans. Add pasta. Some of the fluid from the cooking pasta. Add your pink rose food colour and mix together. Check taste. Add your chopped celery. And after a minute take off and garnish with chopped Basil and Carrots and green beans.
