First, cook the bacon in a pot until crispy. While it cooks, peel the green onions and boil the tomatoes.

Once the bacon is crispy, remove it and set aside. In the same bacon fat, brown the chopped beef steak.

When the tomatoes are cooked, blend them with their cooking water, the garlic cloves, about 3 tablespoons of cilantro, and the chicken bouillon cubes.

When the beef is almost done, add the green onions, cover, and stir often until the meat is tender.

Finally, add the tomato sauce, enough water, and a little salt (remember the bacon is salty). Let it simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes.

To serve, top your bowl with chopped cilantro, cooked pinto beans, and chopped onion. Enjoy!
