Old fashioned meatloaf Old fashioned meatloaf
Meatloaf is one of those things that can be reeeeally good or reeeeally NOT good. When it’s good, it’s medicinal. This is a good base recipe if you like your meatloaf sweet and tangy, meaty and moist. It slices like a dream hot or cold and makes a fab sandwich the next day. Sometimes I add bell pepper in it or on it. You can add any veg you like. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -

Homemade Roast Pork Homemade Roast Pork
This is a recipe I got from my mother. It competes with any store-bought roast pork.Stab with a chopstick and check to see if the juices run clear to confirm if it's cooked through. If your block of meat is big, then it will take longer to cook it.If you boil it for too long the roast pork becomes too soft, so please be careful. Pulled Pork Pulled Pork
This is a mish-mosh of a couple recipes. And I've done it with both a pressure cooker and crock pot and worked out great with either method. I love coleslaw on my pulled pork sandwich but if you want it on the side, that's fine. If you don't want it at all, that's fine too!! As always thank you to my photographer husband Mike to make it look picture perfect!! kokomayla -

It's a simple recipe where all you do is marinate the pork. You can also use the sauce and the roast pork to make okowa (rice dish made from mochi rice). This recipe is from the Kuishinbo Kitchen (my parents' restaurant).Adjust the cooking time depending on your oven and the size of the meat.If you marinate the meat overnight, it will be even more delicious.
