Wash properly urad dal & rice together. Soak it for 2-3 hrs.
Drain it & beat it with very little water in mixe till smooth & fluffy. Pour the batter in bowl. Batter should be thick. - 2
Add chopped onions to it. Add grated ginger, green chillies crushed properly, red chilli powder, salt & coriander leaves. Mix well. Batter for vada is ready.

Heat oil in kadai. Take water in a bowl wet your hands & pour a spoonfull of batter in your hand. Make a hole in the center with your wet finger & drop it in hot oil carefully. Fry it till golden.
