Ingredients

  1. 1 lbground lamb
  2. 3/4 tbspflour
  3. 3/4 tbsppotato flour
  4. 3/4 tspsalt
  5. 1 1/2 cuplight cream, scant
  6. 1ground nutmeg to taste
  7. 1 3/4 quartbeef or lamb broth

Steps

  1. 1

    Add salt and flours to lamb and combine well. Add cream a little at a time beating well after each addition. It should have a thick consistency, but not soupy. Add nutmeg to taste.

  2. 2

    Bring broth to a boil. Using 2 teaspoons make meatballs and drop into boiling broth. Lower heat and simmer until done. Serve piping hot and with flat bread such as lefse.
