Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 cupUncooked instant rice
  • 2Celery ribs, chopped
  • 2 tbspButter
  • 1/4 cupChopped walnuts
  • 5Green onions, thinly sliced
  • 8 ozSliced water chestnuts, drained, optional
  • 1 tspSalt
  • 1 tspPepper
  • 1 tspCurry powder
  • 1 tspRubbed sage

Steps

    Cook rice according to package directions.

  2. 2

    Meanwhile, in a skillet, sauté celery in butter for 2 minutes. Add the walnuts, onions, water chestnuts if desired and seasonings; sauté 2 minutes longer. Stir into rice.
