Garden cross seeds (halim) kheer or payasam

Boil water, then add washed garden cress seeds & allow it to boil for 3-4 minutes.

Add milk and again boil it for 2-3 minutes. Add sugar & allow it to melt & mix well. Let it boil for another 3-4 minutes. Make a powder of cardamom seeds and cloves. Fry/ roast cashew nuts & raisins in 1 tsp heated ghee & keep it aside. Boil and mix well the milk and garden cress mixture and off the gas stove. Then decorate with cardamom cloves powder & cashew nuts and raisins. Serve hot.
