Week 16 ChocolatesCombining flan with added chocolate makes the cake soft, with a slightly bitter taste from dark chocolate that’s unique and delicious. If you pour the chocolate mixture into the flan too quickly, most of the chocolate will settle at the bottom. For a nice two-layer effect, pour the mixtures together gently! Chocolate and Coconut Flan Cake Chocolate and Coconut Flan Cake
This is my favourite dessert, I can finish a whole cake myself. The coconut flan is very light and not so sweet. The chocolate cake is very spongy with slightly coffee flavoured. And I like the sweetness of the toffee layer on top.I always make my own toffee for this cake. What I do is I boil one can of sweetened condensed milk over low fire for 4 hours. Let it cool down, put it in the fridge over night before open it. Wiwik Sunariyah -
Flan Flan
No need for much introduction—this is a dessert most people are familiar with. There are many flan recipes, but the most important thing is the egg-to-milk ratio so the custard sets properly. Some recipes use a lot of liquid compared to eggs, which can be tricky for beginners. So, I’m sharing a recipe I really like. This version uses only eggs and whole milk—no sweetened condensed milk or heavy cream. I find it lighter and easier to eat, since condensed milk or cream can make it too rich. Cheesecake Flan Cheesecake Flan
This flan is a super easy way to make a creamy cream cheese based flan. It's a recipe that's been around for as long as I can remember. I have read that this particular simple flan that includes cream cheese originated in Puerto Rico, but whereever it was invented it is a delicious creamy smooth version that is simple to put together. fenway
