Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1 cuplentils (Masoor dal and Toor dal) Soaked in water for 30 minutes
  2. 1 cupSpinach
  3. 1 tbspChopped Coriander leaves
  4. 1 tbspFinely Chopped Ginger Garlic
  5. 1 tbspChopped Green chilli
  6. 2 cupChopped Onion
  7. 1 cupChopped Tomatoes
  8. 1 tbspMustard Oil
  9. 1 tbspTurmeric Powder
  10. 1 tbspSalt
  11. 1 tbspCumin Seeds

Steps

  1. 1

    Take soaked lentils and drain it's water.

  2. 2

    In a pressure cooker add one and half cup of water, lentils, salt and turmeric powder, let it cook till 5 whistles.

  3. 3

    Heat mustard oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, let it tamper.

  4. 4

    In the pan add garlic, ginger, green chilli, onion and let it turn golden brown.

  5. 5

    Add chopped tomato and sear it.

  6. 6

    Add chopped spinach into the same pan and sear it.

  7. 7

    Add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder and mix it well.

  8. 8

    When spinach becomes soft add cooked lentils into the same pan.

  9. 9

    Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it.
