  1. 1/4 cupmayonnaise
  2. 2 tbspgrainy dijon mustard
  3. 3 tbspfresh lemon juice, divided
  4. 1 tbsphorseradish
  5. 2 tsplemon zest
  6. 1 1/2 tsphot sauce
  7. 3 cuplump crab meat, flaked (about 1 lb)
  8. 2ripe avocados, diced
  9. salt
  10. ground black pepper
  11. 8slices toasted sourdough bread
  12. 1/4 cupmint leaves (optional)

  1. 1

    Mix together mayonnaise, mustard, 1 tbsp lemon juice, horseradish, zest, & hot sauce in a medium bowl. Stir together to make a dressing.

  2. 2

    Combine the dressing with the crab meat, avocado & remaining lemon juice. Add salt & pepper to taste. Spread mixture onto toasted bread & garnish with mint leaves, if desired.
