Ingredients

1 packagesYellow cake mix..prepare according to directions
1 cupBoiling water
1 canStrawberry soda
1 3/4 packagesInstant vanilla pudding
1 1/2 cupCold milk
1 1/2 cupCool whip

Allow cake to cool. Pierce cake with fork. Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add soda to jello mixture. Pour mixture over cake. Refrigerate cake to allow jello to be absorbed and to firm.
Frosting:
Mix pudding with milk according to directions. Let stand a few minutes then fold in cool whip. Frost cake and then refrigerate.
