Ingredients

  • 1 tbspOlive oil
  • 500 gramsItalian sausage, chasing removed
  • 1 canDiced tomatoes
  • 1 canTomato sauce
  • 1 tbspTomato paste
  • 1 tspPackage ravioli
  • 300 mlWater
  • 115 gramsShredded mozzarella
  • 50 gramsGrated Parmesan cheese
  • 6Basil Leaves chopped
  • 1Salt and pepper
  • 1Italian seasoning

    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium high heat

  2. 2

    Add Italian sausage and cook until browned for 3-5 minutes. Crumbling sausage as it cooks

  3. 3

    Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper to taste

  4. 4

    Stir in the ravioli and water. Bring to boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer until the ravioli is tender... About 10 minutes

  5. 5

    Remove from heat, sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan

  6. 6

    Place under your broiler and cook until melted and gold brown for 2-4 minutes

  7. 7

    Serve immediately and garnish with fresh basil
