Chicken Sausages in White Wine (Slow Cooker)

Thanks to my friends Rana and Hirma—whom some of our mutual friends call 'la canija'—I'm always stocked with great recipes to try at home. I love them both, and their recipes are always a hit.

Add the olive oil, peeled and chopped onion, and peeled and crushed garlic to the slow cooker. Season with salt and stir.

In a skillet, brown the sausages and pour in the white wine. Transfer the sausages and wine to the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 3 hours.

After that time, blend the sauce. I used a Thermomix, but you can use a regular hand blender—just do it outside the slow cooker.

Serve with a good baguette for dipping in the sauce.
