Wash & soak tuar Dal for 30 minutes.

Add dal, salt, turmeric powder, curry leaves, chopped tomatoes, green chillies, ginger and 3 cups water.

Pressure cook dal until 5-6 whistles over medium heat.

Once steam released. Blend dal with blender.

Put it on gas for boiling. Add 1 cup water. Add Coriander powder sambhar Masala, jaggery and lemon juice. Boil for 4-5 minutes.

Now take nonstick pan. Add mustard seeds. Once crackled add crushed methi dana and hing. Dry roast on slow flame. Add red pepper and saute for, 1/2 minute.

Now add this dry roast Tadka on dal. Serve hot with rice.
