Ingredients

  1. 3 pcGanth Gobhi, washed, scrapped and half inch chopped
  2. 1medium raddish (Mooli) washed and chopped
  3. 2 tbspgreen peas
  4. 1larger Onion chopped
  5. 2medium red tomatoes chopped
  6. 3green chilies deseeded and chopped finely
  7. 1 - 1/2 tsp grated Ginger
  8. 1/3 tspPanch phuran seeds
  9. 1 tspjeera powder
  10. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  11. 1/2 tspKashmiri chilli powder
  12. 1/3 tspgaram masala (optional)
  13. 1bay leaf broken into half
  14. 2 tbspwater
  15. To tasteSalt
  16. 2 tbspgreen coriander leaves chopped

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pan fry the panch phutan seeds in low flame till they spluter.

  2. 2

    Mix all the ingredients of Ganth Gobhi subzi with panch phutan nicely and transfer to a pressure cooker.

    Cook the mixed Ganth Gobhi subzi ingredients with 2 tbsp of water up to 2 whistles in medium flame.

    Allow the cooker to release the steam and transfer the subzi to the pan. Make the flame of the gas high to keep the curry dry /gravy as you like.

    Hot Ganth Gobhi subzi is ready to serve. Garnish with chopped green coriander leaves.
