Clean and keep the whole pomfret fish aside

Make 3/4 cuts on the fish so as to marinate the fish properly

Apply ginger garlic paste, turmeric, chilli powder, salt, garam masala and lime juice uniformly on the fish

Marinate the fish for 2/3 hrs..i applied marination in the morning and left it in fridge till evening..

Take a pan and let it heat on the stove..once hot add enough oil and place the fish on the pan..let the fish get nicely charred on both sides

Once the fish is nicely charred do the toothpick test..u can just insert toothpick into the fish and if it comes out clean the fish is cooked..

Take it out on a ppate and serve hot with some added lemon juice if u like and sprinkle some coriandee for garnish
