Steps

Heat a pressure cooker and add 2 tbsp ghee.

Add bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper and cloves. Saute for few seconds.

Add onion and saute for 5-6 minutes or until brown on medium flame.

Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and a little water and mix well. Cook the masala until oil separate.

Add peas and tomato and mix well, cook for 1 minute.

Add potato, carrot, cauliflower and mix well.

Add washed rice and salt.

Add 2-3 cup of water, stir well.

Cover with lid and cook for 2 whistle on medium-high flame.

Turn off the flame.

Open the lid only when the steam is totally released from the cooker.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with salad and curd.
