Mix both daals and wash them properly. Soak them in water for 15 minutes.

Now with same water add in pressure cooker with some salt and turmeric powder and allow the daal to boil for 3-4 whistles.

Now open the pressure cooker and add some water if required to adjust consistency.

Now take ghee in pan for tempering. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Then add chopped onions and sauté it for 2-3 minutes till pink.

Then add chopped garlic and ginger and green chilli.

Now add chopped tomatoes followed by red chilli powder and dhaniya masala.

Add pinch of hing.

Now mix everything well in boiled daal and garnish with coriander leaves and top temper with some mustard seeds and red chilli whole.
