Ingredients

2 servings
  • 1 cupsweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
  • 1/2 cupcurd (dahi)
  • 1 cupsemolina (suji)
  • 1/2 tspginger, green chilli paste
  • 1 tspfruit salt
  • 1/2 tsplemon juice
  • 1 tspmustard seeds
  • 10curry leaves
  • 1 pinchhing
  • to tasteSalt
  • For garnishing.
  • 2 tspChopped coriander
  • 1 tspchopped coconut
  • 1/4 cupboiled sweet corn kernels

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine the curd and corn.blend in a mixer till smooth.

  2. 2

    Add the semolina, ginger green chilli paste,salt,1/2 cup water.Mix well.

  3. 3

    Just before steaming add the fruit salt.Mix well.

  4. 4

    Steam in a steamer till cooked or for 15..20 min.

  5. 5

    Heat 1 tsp oil in a fry pan.add the mustard seeds and curry leaves

  6. 6

    When the seeds crackle.add the hing and green chilli and saute for few seconds.

  7. 7

    Add this to the dhokla and garnish with coconut and coriander leaves.

  8. 8
