Ingredients

25-30 minutes
15-18 servings
  1. 1tomato (circle cut)
  2. 1capsicum (circle cut)
  3. 1large banana (circle cut)
  4. 1 cupbesan flour
  5. 1 1/2 tbsprice flour
  6. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  7. 2 pinchtamarind
  8. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  9. 1/3 tspAjwain
  10. 1 pinchHing
  11. 1-2Green chilli
  12. as neededvegetable oil (for frying)
  13. as neededcoriander leaves (for garnishing)
  14. to tastesalt (to taste)

Steps

25-30 minutes
  1. 1

    First of all,take out the pulps of the tomatoes and capcicums by making a hole with the knife at the top & put it in an inverted manner to drain the water for 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    After a wide bowl, mix sieved besan flour, rice flour Red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, ajwain, Coriander, green chilli aur hing. Add water(½ to ¾ cup).and making a batter of pouring consistency (like bhajji batter) keep aside 20 minutes.

    Deep frying
    Heat oil a fraying pan. Reduce the heat to medium.

  4. 4

    Deep each tomatos, capcicums and bananas slices in besan batter and deep fried in hot oil, on a medium flame (2-3 slices at a time), till golden colour on both the sides.

  5. 5

    Drain and place on kitchen paper, to absorb excess oil and serve hot with green chutney, tomato ketchup etc..
