In big bowl, add grated lauki, all masalas, green chilli and garlic.

Add soda and lemon juice to it.

Now add oil and knead a smooth dough.

Divide dough into 4-5 parts and make cylindrical shape.

Boil water in heavy bottom pan or patila.

Keep chalni on it (which fits on it)

Keep muthiya on it.

Cover with plate and cook for 20-25 minutes on medium flame.

In between check it, with the help of knife or tooth pick.

When gets cool, cut it into pieces.

Heat oil in pan.

Crackle jeera and black sarson.

Add heeng and curry patta

Shallow fry the muthiyas.

Serve hot with green chutney.
