Mie Goreng, also known as bakmi goreng, is a flavourful dish common in Indonesia. It is made with thin yellow noodles fried in cooking oil with garlic, onion or shallots, fried prawn, chicken, beef, or sliced bakso (meatballs), chili, Chinese cabbage, cabbages, tomatoes, carrot, egg, and other vegetables.

Originally, to cook javanese fried noodle, we use balacan, chilli, boiled egg, and grilled chicken. But i simplify the recipe and yet it taste not bad.

It is one of Indonesian instant fried noodle called Mie Goreng Sedap that i cook by my way without follow the intruction in the package . But i use all the seasoning of this noodle. I add some garlic, scrambled egg and chicken. It would be nice also if we add some vegetables. But this time i didn't.#mycookbook

Fried Rice or Nasi Goreng is Indonesia's most popular dish which could be served as breakfast, lunch, and dinner - basically any time of the day. The main ingredients are rice and spices. And I do believe that the most delicious fried rice I've ever had was made out of leftover rice, by my father.On this recipe, however, I am using freshly cooked rice. I find basmati rice the most suitable rice to be used for this dish since the texture is a bit dry and loose.
