Take a mixing bowl and mix all the above ings make a hard dough by using water.

Cover the dough and let it rest for 1/2 hour.

Now make small lemon size balls and roll them to thin puri size and deep fry on medium flame till golden brown and crispy.

When cooled you can preserve them in a air tight container for more then 15days.

Firstly wash and soak the dal for an hour.

Heat oil in a cooker.and saute onion till transparent.

Add all the dry masalas stir well and saute for 2_3 mins.

Now add the dal mix well and cook till it starts leaving oil.

Put 1 glass of water and give 1 whistle.

Now check if the dal has absorbed all the water and is very thick then add some water and let it ciok on low flame.

Put the dal in a serving bowl and give tadka of jeera.

Garnish with coriander.

While servng put sum chopped onion tamarind pulp nylon sev.
