Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cupsplain flour
  • 1 1/2 tspbaking powder
  • 1/2 tspsoda bicarbonate
  • 3/4 cupcondensed milk
  • 4 tbspmelted butter
  • 1 tspvanilla extract
  • 6 tbspwater
  • tinMelted butter for greasing the
  • tinPlain flour for dusting the

Steps

  1. 1

    Grease and dust a 7" tin, ensuring the flour has coated the tin evenly. Keep it aside.

  2. 2

    Preheat oven to 180°

  3. 3

    Sieve plain flour, baking powder and soda bicarbonate and keep it aside.

  4. 4

    In a mixing bowl, combine condensed milk, melted butter and vanilla extract. Mix it well.

  5. 5

    Then fold in the sieved flour mixture to it along with water.

  6. 6

    The batter should be of dropping consistency.

  7. 7

    Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake it for 25 minutes at 180°

  8. 8

    Once it's baked, let it cool down a little before you unmould it.
