Ingredients

  • 1 quartmilk
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1 cupshort-grain rice
  • vanilla
  • 3 cupswater

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak the rice for 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the rice in 3 cups of water until fully cooked.

  3. 3

    Add the sugar and milk, stirring constantly until it thickens and reaches a creamy consistency.

  4. 4

    Add the vanilla after turning off the heat, pour into bowls, let it cool, and serve.
