Punugulu.. A popular street food from andhra cuisine. It can be made with over fermented idli or dosa batter. Or you can also make them with freshly ground urad dal and rice batter. The batter must be thick. But if it gets too thick, then water can be added and if it's too runny then rice flour or sooji can be added.

Mix all the ingredients in a big mixing bowl except oil.
Make sure everything is well combined. - 2
Heat oil in a pan on medium flame.

Now dip your hand in water and start making fritters.

Fry punugulu on medium flame till golden brown.

Take the punugulu out in a serving plate and serve hot with coconut chutney or ketchup😊
