Steps

Take a bowl add wheat flour, oil/ghee, salt and carom seeds and mix well.

Add water and knead to a smooth pliable dough. The dough should be supple and soft. Keep aside dough for half an hour.

At a time of making paratha divide the dough into equal sized balls.

Take a ball dust with some flour and press slightly. Roll into thin disc as shown in pic.

Apply some oil/ghee.

Sprinkle some flour on it as shown in pic.

Cut the paratha as shown in pic.

Now start folding as shown in pic.

Roll the paratha as shown in pic.

Press the roll.

Now roll this again as shown in pic.

Place the rolled Paratha on the hot griddle and cook till completely done from both sides.

Apply some oil/ghee while cooking.

Shankh/ conch Shaped Layered Paratha is ready to serve.
