Jaggery coconut modak
Steps

Making puran (stuffing) for modak. Add ghee to a hot pan. Saute jaggery,coconut until both blend well and the mixture turns thick.add cardomom powder and switch off the gas.cool this completely

Making dough. Bring 1 cup water to a boil along with salt and ghee switch off the heat.

Add the flour.mix well cover and set aside until the temperature comes down.

Knead it to a soft dough.

Take a ball and make a dent in the center.place the coconut mixture in it.Bring together all the pleats and join them carefully.

Place the modaks in a steamer and steam them for 10 mins.
