A great accompaniment with tea coffee and milk.
Steps

In a bowl mix flour and baking powder, add margarine mix to crumbs with your finger tips. Add sugar, salt and lemon zest mix well.

In a small jug mix water and lemon juice stir set aside.

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix to a slightly softer dough than for chapati. Cover and rest it 20min. It will rise.

Roll dough out on to a flat floured surface to a half inch thickness and cut into your preferred shapes. Deep fry in hot oil till well risen and golden brown turn each side of even cooking. Serve warm or cold with your favourite beverage.
