Ingredients

  1. 1 packetPani puri
  2. 150 gmswhite Chana
  3. 1 bowlPani puri ka pani
  4. 1 bowlsweet and sour chutney
  5. to tasteSalt
  6. 1 bunchCoriander leaves
  7. 1 bunchMint leaves
  8. 1 tspturmeric powder
  9. 1 inchginger
  10. 5-6green chillies
  11. 6-8khajur
  12. 2small ball tamarind
  13. 3 tbspchat masala
  14. cubesIce
  15. as neededPani puri readymade masala

Cooking Instructions

    Soak the white chana, pressure cooker for 5 whistles.

    In chana add salt and turmeric powder

  3. 3

    To make the Pani, grind coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chillies and ginger. Add little water and make paste.

    Now add 2 cups of water in the paste. Add chat masala, Pani puri readymade masala. Add the boiled Chana in the water. Add ice cubes and can even keep the water in fridge.

    To make the sweet and sour chutney. Soak khajur and tamarind separately. Then after sometime make a mixture of khajur, add a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil. Then let it cool and even add the tamarind pulp which you made after soaking and grinding it. Mix well.

    Now break the puri with your thumb from the centre. Add both the chutney as well as Chana pani, and serve.

    Please note you can use green chillies as per your taste or requirement.
