Ingredients

  • 1/2 kgMutton
  • 1 cupMoong dal
  • 1 cupMasoor dal
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tsphaldi/ turmeric powder
  • Bottlegourd 1(dudhi)
  • 1 tbspRed chilli Powder
  • 1 tspDhaniya / coriander Powder
  • 2 tspJeera/ cumin Powder
  • Ingredients for hara masala
  • 1 tbspcoriander
  • 4 green chillies
  • 1/2 cupmint leaves
  • 1 tbspjeera/ cumin
  • 1 " adrak / ginger
  • 8-10 clovesgarlic
  • as neededFew Whole garam masala(all whole spices mix)
  • as neededOil
  • 1Tomatoes
  • 2Onions
  • For tempering:
  • 1 tbspGhee
  • 1 tbspJeera
  • 4-5Whole red chillies
  • 4-5Curry patta
  • 1 tbspCoriander
  • 1 tbspChopped garlic

Steps

  1. 1

    In a Vessel, boil both the dals with water, salt, haldi.

  2. 2

    In a kadhai, put whole spices, fry onions till golden brown, then put tomatoes, Put Hara masala, saute it for few minutes, put red chilli Powder, dhaniya Powder, jeera Powder, dudhi (bottle gourd), put mutton, And cook til tender...

  3. 3

    After that put dal mixture into cooked mutton...

  4. 4

    For tempering mix everything And saute for 2 mins till splutter, And serve it with raita, fryums, papad and pav or rice
