Steps

Take a bowl of pearl millet. Make a fine powder of the millet in a dry mixie jar.

Sieve the mix of 1 cup of maida and 1/4 cup of pearl millet for uniform blending.

Transfer the sieved mixture into another bowl. Add beet juice to it.

Mix it well.Allow it to ferment for 8 to 12 hours. After fermentation it looks as below.

Take a milk packet cover. Fold it into a cone. Fill it with batter. Make a small hole at the tip.

Heat oil in a pan over a medium flame for deep frying.

By pressing the cone, make small shaped jalebis into the pan.

For sugar syrup : Take a heavy bottomed pan. Add sugar and pour water to it and stir it continuously over a medium flame to form one string consistency.

Using the tongs, pick the jalebi and dunk it inside the syrup for a few minutes.

Transfer the jalebi into a serving plate and serve :).
