This is very easy to make with discarded white part of water melon(isn't it interesting😀)....kids love this and can be used in cakes, breads etc.....prepared with minimum ingredients with hygiene and non preservatives...

This is very easy to make with discarded white part of water melon(isn't it interesting😀)....kids love this and can be used in cakes, breads etc.....prepared with minimum ingredients with hygiene and non preservatives...

After eating water melon,sace the white bottom part to make this tutti-frutti....peel the green skin and cut white part into small pieces

Take double amount of water and cook these pieces till transparent...5-8 mins and drain

Take 1.5 bowl of water +1 bowl sugar and melt it and add the cooked pieces+vanillaessence/rose syrup(any falvourings of ir choice) to it and let it cook for another 5-8 mins...or till u feel the pieces r well cooked in syrup

Once cooled....divide it into different bowl for adding colourss with the sugar syrup...u can use any colours of ur choice...i used red,green and yellow food colours..let it rest in the sugar syrup+colour for 8-10 hrs...close it with a lid..

Once it absorbs the colour drain it and spread on kitchen towel to take out the access water.....spread them in a plate and sun dry or dry under fan till all the moisture is dried...similarly u can bake these too to het dried...but see not to burn these...chk in between..

Easy and sinple homemade tutti-frutti is ready....with waste of water melon....
