Ingredients

  1. 250 GramsSemolina (Sooji)
  2. 250 GramsSugar (Shakkar or Chini)
  3. 250 GramsMilk Powder (Doodh Ka Powder)
  4. 250 GramsMilk Solid (Mawa or Khoya) -
  5. 250 GramsPure Ghee (Asali Ghee)
  6. 250 LiterMilk (Doodh)
  7. 1/2 Tea SpoonCardamom Powder (Elaichi Powder)
  8. 10-15Raisins (Khishmish)
  9. 10-15Almonds (Badam)
  10. 10-15Pistachio (Pista)
  11. Silver Sheet for garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat pure ghee in a non-stick pan or kadai. Once the e ghee is hot, add semolina and mix it. Stir and cook it become light brown

  2. 2

    Add milk and mix it. Stir and cook till the semolina become soft

  3. 3

    At the stage milk powder and milk solid and mix them. By stirring it continuously cook it for 5 to 6 minutes till it turns to golden brown

  4. 4

    Add grated almonds, pistachio, raisins and cardamom powder. Mix all and cook for another 2 minutes

  5. 5

    Finally add sugar and mix it. Cook it till the ghee gets separated from the semolina and becomes a lump. Keep it aside to get it cool

  6. 6

    Take a plate and grease it. Spread the lump evenly in the tray. Garnish it with silver coating and dry fruits. Keep it aside to get it cool

  7. 7

    With help of knife cut it to square or diamond shape as per your requirement

  8. 8

    Now the dish is ready, serve it by garnishing with finely chopped almonds and cashew nuts
