  1. 1 KgRice Flakes (Paper Poha)
  2. 100 GramsPeanuts (Moong Phalli)
  3. 100 GramsRoasted Chana Dal (Bhone Chana Dal)
  4. 100 GramsFinely Sliced Dry Coconut (Barik Kata Khopra)
  5. 30-40 leavesCurry Leave (Curry Patta) -
  6. 1 BunchFinely chopped Mint Leave (Barik Kata Pudina)
  7. 1BunchFinely chopped Green Coriander (Barik Kata Hara Dhaniya)
  8. 5-8Slit Green Chilies (Kati Hari Mirch)
  9. 1 TablespoonCoriander Seeds (Sabit Dhaniya)
  10. 1 TablespoonSesame Seeds (Til)
  11. 8-10Dry Red Chillies (Sukhi Lal Mirch)
  12. 1/2 TeaspoonAsafoetida (Hing)
  13. 1 TablespoonCumin Seeds (Jeera)
  14. 1 TablespoonMustard Seeds (Rai)
  15. 1 TablespoonTurmeric Powder (Haldi Powder)
  16. 1 TeaspoonCitric Acid Powder (Nimbu Ke Sat Ka Powder)
  17. 1 TablespoonSugar (Chini or Shakkar)
  18. Oil - As Per Requirement
  19. to taste Salt (Namak)
  20. 100 GramsPotato Chips (Aloo Ke Chips)
  21. 100 GramsPotato Sticks (Aloo Ke Kadi)

Steps

  1. 1

    Dry roast paper poha till it turns to light golden brown and keep it aside to get cool

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a kadai or frying pan. Once the oil is hot deep fry peanuts, roasted chana dal, Potato Chips, Potato Sticks and finely sliced dry coconut and keep it aside

    To prepare the tempering add cumin, mustard, dry coriander, sesame seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder, curry leaves, dry red chillies, slit green chillies, finely chopped green coriander and mint leave. Cool till all the ingredients leaves the flavor in the oil

    Take a vessel add dry roasted paper poha, deep fried peanuts, roasted chana dal, potato chips, potato sticks, finely sliced dry coconut and complete tempering

  4. 4

    Finely add citric acid powder, sugar and season it with salt according to taste. Once again mix it gentle and all it to get cool

  5. 5

    Now the dish is ready to be served along with hot cup of tea
