Chhena murki is an easy and quick preparation which is delicious and healthy but little tricky, it needs a lot of patience.
It's fat free and very ideal for those sweet cravings and in between munching.
Steps

For the sugar syrup, cook the sugar with one cup of water, stirring continuously, till the sugar dissolves

Add the milk and let it boil, collect the scum, which rise to the surface with a ladle and discard.

Cook the syrup until a one-string consistency is obtained.

Now add the paneer cubes and cardamom powder and cook on low flame till the syrup coats the cubes well.

Stir carefully so that the paneer cubes do not break.

Remove from heat, add the rose essence and mix well.

Keep shaking the pan lightly, till all the cubes are thickly coated with the syrup and separated from each other.

Arrange in a serving bowl and sprinkle powdered sugar generously.

Serve when cooled and slightly dry
