Ingredients

4-6 servings
  1. 1 cupCorn (maize) flour
  2. Carom seeds
  3. Fortune oil as required
  4. 1/2 tspClarified butter/desi ghee
  5. warm water

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly sieve the corn flour then add carom seeds by rubbing on yo'r palm..now make a soft dough of corn flour by mixing warm water little by little(don't add much water at a time)

    Give a rest of 10minutes to the dough to set completely

    Heat a skillet and make ball out of dough.. Dust some dry flour on rolling board and flatten by tapping and rotating with yo'r wet hand.. Beginners can place a cotton kitchen napkin under the dough ball then flatten.. In this way they need and't to rotate the chapati.. only napkin may be rotate

    Shift the chapati on hot skillet and let it to cook on medium heat..don't turn over immediately other wise chapatti may broken..when chapatti seem to dry and cooked then flip it (turn over other side) and cook..Grease the chapati with the help of a brush and cook from both side by pressing with the help of a spatula till golden brown spots visible..remove the chapatti from the skillet

    Make more chapatties with same process.. Cut into half then again half (make four pieces of chapati with the help of a pizza cutter or knife)

    Yo'r corn flour chapatties r ready

  7. 7

    Transfer in a serving plate.. Drizzle drops of clarified butter/desi ghee

  8. 8

    Serve hot with mustard saag(sarson saag)
