Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cupmixed sprouts (moong chana matar moth)
  2. 1 cupBasmati rice socked and drained
  3. 1 tbspGhee
  4. 1 tspCumin seeds
  5. 2Green chilli finely chopped
  6. 1 inchCinnamon
  7. 2 tspGinger paste
  8. 1Onion sliced
  9. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. 5-6French beans chopped
  12. 2Medium carrot chopped
  13. 1Green bell pepper chopped
  14. 1 tspBiryani masala

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat ghee in cooker and add cumin seeds green chillis cinnamon ginger paste and onions.

  2. 2

    Saute till onions are light brown.

  3. 3

    Add turmeric powder sprouts and mix well.

  4. 4

    Add salt 1/2 cup water stir to mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Add beans carrot and bell peppers. Mix well and add rice. Mix well lightly.

  6. 6

    Add 2 cups water stir to mix and bring to a boil.

  7. 7

    Add biryani masala and salt. Mix well.

  8. 8

    Cover with lid and cook for 1-2 whistles. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5-7miniutes.

  9. 9

    Serve hot with raita and papad.
