The most sour ingredient in the world is tamarind. The dried pods dont look very appealing, but are great for pranks and yield a delicious fruit!

  1. 6tamarind pods
  2. 3 Cwater

Cooking Instructions

    Crack the shells and remove the pods. Remove the rope-like fibers.

  2. 2

    Bring water to a boil. Place tamarind pods in a bowl and cover with water. Cover. Let sit 1 hour.

  3. 3

    Drain. Press tamarind through a fine mesh sieve into a empty bowl. Discard seeds and fibers.
