Gud papdi (wheat jaggery dry fruit barfi)

Melt desi ghee in heavy bottom kadai add wheat flour roast on low medium flame mixing regularly till wheat flour turns light brown thus would take 12 to 15 minutes

Then remove from heat.....wait 2 minutes so that steam escapes meanwhile grease a thali with ghee or u can keep silver foil or butter paper down

Now add scraped jaggery into the roasted wheat flour mixture and mix well such that no lumps of jaggery are remained

Once jaggery us mixed well immediately pour mixture onto the greased thali press down with spatula even out the surface u need to do that fast when the mixture is hot if it cools down it will be difficult to bind it into shape

Apply cuts all over and set aside till the barfi cools down.....after around 1 hour remove separate the pieces cool completely before u store them in air tight containers

Will last for 20 days u can add dry grated coconut and edible gum too take care jazak allah khair
