Frozen pizza can be delicious. If you doctor it up a bit. This isn't so much a recipe as it is a list of ingredients and methods to improve a storebought item x10. Add a few ingredients and 5 more minutes of prep and hey! It's not delivery.. It's DELUXO!!

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

First thing, I rearrange my toppings on the frozen pizza. They're never distributed properly so they need a bit of help.
Then sprinkle your oregano, and miscellaneous herb blend onto the pizza.

  2. 2

I always use a pan! That's a big downfall of cheap frozen pizzas. Concrete like crust. A little bit of a softer crust really adds to the goodness of a pizza. So use a pan.

  3. 3

Follow the package directions on oven temp. Put your pizza on the top rack of the oven. I like 3 or 4 meat pizzas so I like to get a head start on cooking the toppings so I want it close to the heat at the beginning.
Cook on top rack for approx. 10 minutes.

  4. 4

Remove from oven. Add your shredded cheese evenly over the top. Then add your garlic powder and red pepper flakes depending on your taste. I like spice and flavor.
Return to oven on middle rack and cook for remainder of package time adding 5 minutes.

  5. 5

Remove, slice and enjoy! As always, experiment, tinker, add and play. You can even add more toppings if you have them handy. A little effort and a $4 frozen pizza can be a delicious noteworthy experience!

I've always loved to cook, it's probably my favorite hobby. I'm not a huge fan of recipes because half the fun of cooking is experimentation and trial and error. I suggest ya'll do like me and use a recipe as a guideline only! Add your own stuff, try your own methods.Just a bit of background on me. I taught myself to cook when I was a younger, poorer man. Using and experimenting with cheap ingredients and utilizing stuff I already had in the house. Had to streach those dollars ya know? Hence the Whitetrash moniker.I'm a single guy so most of what I share on here I've cooked for myself and myself alone. I like to make big batches of stuff and eat on it for a few days. I use simple methods and ingredients and try to maximize quality while spending as little money as possible. I will always be adding recipes as I cook them. Bon appetite!
