Cook the peas in pressure cooker adding 4 to 5 cups of water for 5 to 6 whistles

For the Masala paste grind Cinnamon, chilli, chana Dal, cooriander seed, Ginger, garlic, fresh coriander, coconut, cumin along with 2 tbsp of cooked peas in a mixer and form a paste

To start with the gravy sautee the onion by adding 2 tsp oil, add chilli powder and once done add the ground masala paste

Once the oil starts to separate from the gravy add the cooked peas, sugar and salt. Adjust the consistency for the gravy. Cook for 15 mins

Assemble the dish by adding puri's, gravy, bit of onion, tomato, sev, tinch of chat masala and Aamchur powder

Finally garnish with fresh coriander and lemon juice
