Heat oil in a pan,add garlic,stir for few seconds, add green chilli, turmeric powder,stir well add chopped fenugreek leaves,peas and salt,saute it and cook covered for few minutes.

Meanwhile prepare batter of kadhi - in a bowl add curd, gram flour, whisk very well, add 2-3 cup of water whisk again.

Pour this batter to the pan,keep the flame high this time and stir continuously until it comes to a boil.

Now reduce the flame and cook for 10 -12 mins.(stir in regular intervals).

For tempering- in a tempering pan heat oil,add mustard seeds,let them crackle,add curry leaves,red dry chilli and red chilli powder, immediately pour onto prepared kadhi and mix.

Methi matar kadhi is ready to serve, serve with roti, parantha or with rice.it is too delicious.

Note- if you don't want to use garlic,then you can add cumin seeds,hing instead of.
