Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 cupboiled fresh lilva (fresh tuvar dana)
  2. 1potato
  3. 1sweet potato
  4. 1chopped tomato
  5. 2+2 tbspoil+ghee
  6. 1 teaspoonmustard seeds
  7. Pinchasafoetida
  8. 1 tablespoongarlic paste
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  11. 1 tablespoonred chilli powder
  12. 1 tablespoonkitchen king masala or garam masala
  13. 1/4 cupwhisked curd
  14. 3 tablespoonchopped fresh coriander leaves
  15. as neededOil for frying

  1. 1

    Boil lilva in pressure cooker with little water.

  2. 2

    Cut potato and sweet potato in small cubes and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.

  3. 3

    In a pan heat oil and ghee. Add mustard seeds. When crackles add asafoetida.

  4. 4

    Add chopped tomato and garlic paste. Saute till tomato turns soft.

  5. 5

    Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, kitchen king masala and whisked curd. Add approximate 1/2 cup water and mix well.

  6. 6

    When it comes to boil add fried potato, sweet potato and boiled lilva. Add chopped coriander leaves.

  7. 7

    Cover with lid and cook for 3-4 minutes.

  8. 8

    Tasty lilva curry is ready to serve. Enjoy with roti or paratha.
