Urad bhakri + groundnut chutney + kadhi is a wholesome dish from khandesh. Usually it is made in winter season but it is eaten here all year round. You can grind the flour in bulk and use it within a month.
As we know urad having tons of nutritions, it provides proteins, potassium, sodium.
This whole menu is very nutritious. I learnt this recipe from my mother.

Take all the ingredients mentioned above and knead to make a stiff but nit hard dough.

Divide the dough into 5 to 6 balls.

Dust the roti stand(chakka) with some flour.

Take one ball, again knead it finely and flat it with your palms on chakla. Make a round shape. It should not be very thin and very thick.

Put the rounded bhakari on heated iron griddle. Apply some water evenly on upper side of bhakari.

When water getting disappear, with the help of flat spatula flip it. Cook till brown spots appear on the bottom side of the bhakari (about 1 minute on high flame)
Flip again and cook it directly on the flame till it ballons up or till it is well cooked.

Apply some oil on bhakari.

Repeat the process for all balls.

Serve hot with groundnut chutney along with kadhi, sliced onion and khandeshi pickel.
