Ingredients

  1. Ingredients for matar pulao: -
  2. 1 Glassrice soaked for 1 hr
  3. 1/2 kgmatar ke daane
  4. 5-6 Cloves
  5. to tasteSalt
  6. 1/4 tspHeeng
  7. 1 tbspJeera
  8. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  9. 1/2 tspGaram Masala
  10. 2 tbspRefined Oil
  11. 1 glass + moreWater (Glass size shud be same as of rice)
  12. 1 tspHaldi Powder
  13. For Urad Dal
  14. 4fists urad dal soaked for 1 hour
  15. 1/4 tspHeeng
  16. 1 tbspJeera
  17. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  18. 3-4 TspCoriander powder
  19. 1 tspHaldi Powder
  20. 1 tspSaunth
  21. 1 tspAmchur Powder
  22. 1/2 tspGaram Masala
  23. 1 small pc Ginger chopped
  24. as neededDesi Ghee
  25. as neededFresh coriander leaves chopped and washed
  26. to tasteSalt

Steps

    For Matar Pulav: Take cooker. Heat it. Add Refined oil, then heeng, crackle jeera, Cloves, Chilli powder, Garam masala, then soaked rice, matar, salt, Water. Mix them well. Cover it with plate and give it a boil. Now pressure cook. Do not give full whistle. As the pressure start to begin medium the flame for 5 -7 mins. Then switch off the gas.

    For Urad dal : Pressure cook dal by adding salt and haldi powder. Give one whistle, sim the gas for 2-3 mins, Switch off the flame. Tke a wok, add desi ghee, Heeng, jeera, chopped ginger, Coriander powder, Red chilli powder, Saunth. Mix it in the cooked dal, then add amchur and garam masala. Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves. Ready to serve.
