Steps

Melt 1tbsp butter in skillet over med/high heat.

Dry scallops and season with salt and pepper.

Cook scallops until golden brown or 1-2 minutes each side.

For sauce, mince garlic. Melt 2 tbsp butter and add garlic. Cook for 1 minute. Do not let garlic burn. Add lemon juice stirring frequently. Add salt and pepper.

Poor sauce over scallops and serve.
